July 2010 - Spy Candy perform at RAF Scampton in Lincoln, the current home of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, and home to the famous squadron 617 - also known as the Dambusters.

May 2010 - What's that in the background? While watching Blanche's funeral on Coronation Street last Monday one of us spotted a familiar poster on the corry brick wall. How did that get there? Nobody has booked us to play at the Rovers Return!

March/April 2010 - It must be spring again - with Spy Candy off to the new season openings of holiday parks New Pines Club in Rhyl, Shaw Hall Park, Ormskirk, Cawood Park in North Yorkshire and Talacre Beach Leisure Park in Flintshire.

March 2010 - Charity evening in aid of Help for Heroes at Northwich Memorial Hall. With music from Spy Candy a grand raffle with excellent prizes donated by local businesses and the opportunity to purchase HELP for HEROES merchandise being sold by Cheshire Army Cadets.

Many thanks to Paul Oakes for organising this event which was a great success.

5th December 2009 - Played at the Coors Brewery Christmas Party - tough job, but somebody had to do it! Really wonderful hospitality from the Coors people. "I would like to say a huge Thank you to the band for making our Christmas party such a success, this was my first time arranging a Christmas Party for all the Brewery employee's and having a live band as professional as Spy Candy made the experience very special for us all, everyone really enjoyed the entertainment, the Venue was buzzing, and it will be remembered for many months to come. January 2009 - Spy Candy played at the major ASL Military Showcase with about 20 other bands, which has helped us get a busy 2009 summer - playing at RAF Benson, then Northwood HQ (British Armed Forces Headquarters and NATO regional command), and the following night at the Army Training Centre, Pirbright, then Dalton Barracks & RAF Honington, with more pending...

New Year's Eve 2008 - Spy Candy flew off to Dubai to perform at the Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa. This luxurious 5 star hotel complex has pools, restaurants and bars set amidst its own tropical gardens and private beach. It is situated on Dubai's world-famous Jumeirah Beach and adjacent to the magnificent Dubai Marina.

Aug 2008 - Another varied month, with gigs at Whipsnade Zoo, Dunstable, then Luffenham Army Base and another visit to the lovely De Vere Herons' Reach Hotel at Blackpool followed by a panoramic view of Manchester from a wedding at the Lowry Theatre in Salford. Missed the lions!

May-Aug 2008 - Appear to have made some sporting fans in Derbyshire this summer. Played at Derby FC (Pride Park) twice, Derby Rugby Club (booked again there for 2009 already) and Horsley Lodge Golf Club, Derby.

May 2008 - Back again at the Embassy Ballroom at West Sands Park, Selsey, a Saturday night between Suzi Quatro and Go West on in the weeks before us and Eaton Road, East 17 and Brotherhood of Man in the weeks after us. Even got to use their revolving stage this time around (sic!).

Jan 2008 - Spy Candy's drummer Matt writes Liverpool 08 winning anthem. Song "The Pool Of Life" is Liverpool's new anthem for Capital of Culture. The winning entry in the Song For Liverpool contest, part of the Open Culture initiative, was penned by songwriting team Carl Davis, Kenny O'Connell and Matt Shaw. Sung by Phill Jones, "Pool Of Life" won half of the 44,000 votes cast. The Radio City competition was backed by the ECHO, the Daily Post and Radio Merseyside.

August 2007 - Spy Candy at ITV London. Playing at the London Studios Quiz Party in Studio 1, where shows such as Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, the Parkinson Show and CD-UK Chart Show are made.

June/July 2007 - Spy Candy spend a lot of time at Summer Balls for the military. Two visits to Weeton Barracks, RAF Cosford, RAF Brize Norton and two visits to RAF Odiham.

New Year's Eve 2006 - Spy Candy flew off to Dubai to perform outdoors at The Aviation Club/Irish Village. Arguably the premier leisure facility of Dubai and undoubtedly one of its most popular venues. Their 2006 New Year's Eve party was a 6,000 capacity sell out event, with Spy Candy performing two one hour sets - one in 2006 and one in 2007 - with an excellent firework display at Midnight.

September 9th 2006 - Spy Candy flew to Amsterdam to perform at Quantel's event for the International Broadcasting Convention 2006 at the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky. "SpyCandy didn’t just turn up on the night, but worked with us from our theme conception through to the event itself, to make our client party THE event of IBC2006 in Amsterdam. From total commitment and professionalism to the look and feel, the audience interaction, fantastic play list that worked it’s magic on all guests, filling the dance floor and the fact that a newly formed fan club greeted them at Schiphol Airport on the departure - Project4 had a requirement to fulfil our clients every need and dream for their customer event, SpyCandy helped us achieve that. December 2005 - The Princess Royal Barracks, Deepcut. "I would like to pass on my thanks personally, and on behalf of the Presiding Member of The Headquarters and Central Sergeants’ Mess here at Deepcut, for the excellent entertainment provided on the evening of our Christmas Draw. The whole set up was outstanding from start to finish and it ran like a dream. Spy Candy were outstanding! I would have no doubt in recommending them to my colleagues at other Sergeants’ Messes." November 2005 - Spy Candy played to a packed house at The Sugar House, Lancaster University's Nightclub. "I just wanted to say thank you for a fantastic night. The costumes were brilliant, the music was an incredibly high standard and everyone in the band contributed to providing an all round outstanding performance. You guys are welcome back any time! Please feel free to use us as a reference for the band, cheers again." L.D. The Sugar House.

The Sugar House is an 1150 capacity venue owned and operated by Lancaster University Student's Union. Live acts that have previously graced their stage include The Fun Lovin' Criminals, The Charlatans, Travis, Toploader, The Stone Roses and Mansun to name but a few.

November 2004 - Spy Candy sailed to Cherbourg in France, performing on the Pride of Bilboa, one of the most luxurious ships in P&O Ferries' fleet. The 1200 capacity Showbar was full as it typically has been for this season's other artists - who have included The Searchers, Sonia, Katrina (the Waves), Dave Finnegan's Commitments, Limahl (Kajagoogoo), and The Real Thing. The following Friday had Vanity Fare onboard - "Hitchin' a Ride" no doubt!! And Spy Candy are onboard again in 2005.

October 2004 - Spy Candy played at Lancashire Cricket Club (Old Trafford) for the Ski Club of Great Britain's second Northern Ball.
"...the evening was an enormous success. With music from Spy Candy and Mike Holt the dance floor was crammed from start to finish with members and non-members alike displaying some great moves!" - Ski Club of Great Britain

June 2004 - Spy Candy played at the Summer Ball for the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. The New College, built in 1908-1911, remains the longest military building in Britain.

April 2004 - Spy Candy flew for the weekend to Cannes in the South of France to perform at a large corporate event at the Noga Hilton for a major Insurance Company.

January 2004 - SHOWCASE REVIEW at Chester Grosvenor-Pulford.
"The pick of the bunch on the afternoon session was SPY CANDY. Here we have a six piece fun band with a genuinely gifted female vocalist and a zany and wacky line in crowd approach. Dressed in various modes of fancy dress, Spy Candy have a three-male and three-female line up, which must be a huge selling point these days. Songs from Beyonce and Aretha Franklin were convincingly performed from one of the leaders in the live band field."
